Hmm.. Strawberry shortcake. I am SUPPOSED to meet Mei jun at 11am. And when I messaged her at 10 45, she just woke up. Because I messaged her. OMG. I cannot believe it. Anyway, had brunch at foodcourt. Then we went to walk around in search of her massager. And guess who I saw in this gift shop. Carissa and Linxi! Small world. Anyway, I successfully caused mei jun to spend $20+. Lol. Went to NTUC to get our baking stuff. And we were standing in front of the whipping cream section, talking about her trip to Thailand. And a nun came and say us. Lol. Cannot scold her cause she is a nun. Walked home and we began our baking. Everything went rather smoothly. Until the part where we were supposed to whip the cream. We happily poured the cream into the mixer and mixed it. Then we left it to continue mixing while we watched some vcd. After a few minutes, I walked towards the mixer, excited to see the puffy whipped cream. But guess what I saw. The bloody cream became butter and buttermilk!!!!! I was like wtf. So there goes the cream for our cake. I guess a cake can't be called a cake without any cream right? :( Result : Mission failed. AGAIN. -_-" But we continued to cut the cake in half to fill it with strawberries. And realised that the inside was uncooked. LOL. Whatever. At the end of the day, only the strawberries were nice. Ha ha. Blended some strawberry milkshake. Cooked dinner. Onions with egg. Mei jun's suggestion. And guess what? There was more onions than egg. And the onions kept dropping out of the pan. Mei Jun went home after dinner. Sorry to say, I didn't go running. He he. Maybe next time. :D :D
